The hurricane has jogged more to the north so here in Brownsville, the shipyard will operate on sort of like regular hours. The trouble is, we deal quite a bit with companies in the Houston, Galveston and Orange areas..and those people have wisely evacuated..so all shipments are on hold and any potential purchases cannot be made if no one is around to answer the phones or emails. Not to mention discussions with owner representatives or regulatory bodies.

A bit of a come down, tinged with relief for us and anxiety for friends in the Houston area. Especially after having seen the effect of a major hurricane on a large population center; Katrina's devastation of Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama will be felt for a long time to come.
